A real estate agent’s life is anything but ordinary. We come across a lot of crazy things in our industry. Most of the time we’re hard at work, but sometimes we can’t help but laugh about the crazy things we see while at work.
A few days ago I posted a posted a question in a Facebook group of 49,000 Real Estate Agents called Lab Coat Agents.
What’s the craziest thing that’s ever happened to you while showing homes?
There were a lot of stories about people being caught naked or in compromised situations. I chose not to include those stories here, but feel free to read those on our Facebook Page – Lab Coat Agents.
Courtney Cameron from San Diego wrote the following which I thought was funny.
Robert C Stern reminds us to make sure we double check what our clients leave up when selling a home. Josh Chapman makes a valid point.
Cecilia Cece Fox has a scary encounter. Finding a dead body while working can be very traumatizing. She handled it well.
This one I can relate to because it happened to me in the past. Juan Gabriel Molina tells a story all too familiar.
When reading this story it reminds me that sometimes we have to wear hats or caps when looking at homes. Read Dominique Zarow‘s story.
Mary Sue Arthur and John Moscillo comment about the possible dangers of vacant homes.
Dawn Balmer reminds us that you can never, ever knock loud enough.
Suzanne Everett O’Rear made me laugh with this one. Remember to always be setting expectations.
Isabel C. Diaz reminds all of us how hard we work for our commission sometimes. We definitely think on our feet as real estate agents. Funny story here.
